The simplified arrangement is a great opportunity to gain experience with lever changes and continue solidifying your technique. Although it’s shorter and less complex than the late-intermediate level, it sounds really impressive and beautiful played on the harp. Difficulty Level and Skills Required
Early-Intermediate: (Click here for the Late-Intermediate version). The right hand consists of overlapping brackets, cross-overs, and quick placing. The left hand is simpler in terms of notes but does have some jumping between the high and low register of the harp. There are many lever changes throughout.
Type of Harp
For big and small harps, 22 strings (C-C) and larger.
Range
Lowest note is C, one octave below middle C. Highest note is B, almost two octaves above middle C.
Levers/Pedals
In the key of D major (F and C levers set to F sharp and C sharp). Many C, D, and G lever changes throughout.
