This is a stunning piece to add to your repertoire that will really bless anyone who listens! The melody beautifully intertwines with the left-hand accompaniment, making it sound effortless and free-flowing. It’s really valuable to learn this piece along with the video course, as Carrie shows you how to coordinate the two hands together. You also get plenty of practice placing so that you can play this piece up to speed with ease and fluency!

NOTE: This is the same arrangement as “When I Survey The Wondrous Cross

Mid-Intermediate: (Click here for the Early-Beginner version and here for the Early-Intermediate version). The right hand carries the melody but frequently shares a continuation of the left-hand accompaniment. The right hand has many overlapping brackets and downward arpeggios. The left hand consists largely of 4-2-1 arpeggios with cross-unders, rolled chords, and jumping to cross over right hand to play notes in the treble clef.

The beautiful arrangement of this piece flows so nicely under the fingers. I didn’t know how much I would love playing it until I finished. Because it’s so beautiful, practicing it over and over is actually fun. So relaxing to play and I can see how this would be a blessing to play for others, because it’s such a blessing to play it for me!
