I spent last evening listening to this workshop. As usual, I found a couple of “gems” that made the time invested worthwhile. Carrie’s discussion / worksheet spoke about the importance of focus, identify trouble spots, etc., rather than just playing through our stack of songs mindlessly. I love playing my harp , it is not a chore at all, but I realized how important that focus will be to playing more smoothly and getting to the next level. The second gem: A book recommended, Purpose in Practice, I downloaded the free sample on kindle after the class, the free chapter was so inspiring I will order that book today…

Hello from Vienna/ Austria.
Your excellent moderated workshop, how to improve practice abilities ,gave me a major impact on finding back in my harp laying ( Lyon& Healey Drake LT, 34 biocarbonic strings ) after a complex surgery of my left hand ( CTS ) nine months ago. The audio side effects did not disturb me at all. I will let you know from time to time how the workshop changed my understanding of playing the harp with hopefully improved quality.

This was very thorough and fun. I now understand harmonics much better and can do them so much better. Very highly recommend! Looking forward to doing more workshops in the future. 🙂
