She wrote it as a performance piece for beginners and an exercise in crossing hand-over-hand. It uses a wide range of strings on the harp, making it fun to play and so pretty to listen to. Mid-Beginner: This piece contains a recurring pattern of crossing hand-over-hand with 3-finger arpeggios. Right and left hand alternate, never playing at the same time.

Lowest note is C, one octave below middle C. Highest note is E, just more than two octaves above middle C.
