“Morning Has Broken” is a Cat Stevens classic that brings back great memories for those who were around in the 70s! For the harp player, it’s an opportunity to learn some new skills. This piece includes right hand 4-finger shapes that are good to learn at this level, and 3 different syncopated rhythms to practice. The left hand has a variety of simple shapes and patterns that are important to learn and be able to switch between seamlessly. The overlapping brackets with repeated notes in the melody gives a higher than usual risk of buzzing, so the Video Course will help with that potential problem.
