This song is a favorite by The Beatles, and most people will instantly recognize the melody and start humming along. Most arrangements of this song are for pedal harp, or they miss the fun rhythmic “vibe” of the song, but Christy-Lyn has carefully planned the lever changes to make it all possible! In the Video Course, you’ll get essential practice tips to conquer the lever changes and make the piece flow much faster than if you were learning on your own.

Advanced: (for the Intermediate version click here). The main challenge in this piece is the quick lever changes, especially in the middle section. There are also complex rhythms, with lots of syncopation and a few time signature changes. The right hand part is fairly straight forward with a single melody line and some glissandos, but it is quick and sometimes jumps up to high notes. The left hand pattern constantly jumps between low and high notes and has a few moments with accented syncopated rhythms.
Type of Harp
Big lever harps, including 33 strings and bigger. This can be played on pedal harp, but pedal changes are not included in the sheet music.
Range
Lowest note is E almost two octaves below middle C, highest note is E, two and a half octaves above middle C.
Levers/Pedals
It is in the key of A major (F, C and G sharps), with D, C and G lever changes.

Although I can’t directly review this course because I’m not ready for it, Christy-Lyn is a brilliant musician and her arrangements are all so well done. I can’t believe the progress I’ve made already! This arrangement of Here Comes the Sun is so vibrant and lively! It really captures the song perfectly.
