If you’re looking for a piece that’s beautiful yet simple, this arrangement of Gymnopédie No. 1 is for you. The slow-moving melody, balanced out by the sustained left-hand notes, creates such a soothing, melancholic atmosphere. Note: To make this a beginner-friendly arrangement, this version has been shortened from the original to avoid the many lever changes. A repeat has been added to make the piece feel more complete.

Difficulty Level and Skills Required
Late-Beginner: (Click here for the Mid-Intermediate version, for the Late-Intermediate version click here). The right hand consists of three-finger chords and a slow moving melody line. The left hand has 1-2 notes per measure, often played with only the 2nd finger. Compared to the intermediate levels, this version is simplified quite a bit with less notes and no lever changes.
