You will feel so accomplished when you master those lever changes and are able to play it through! There’s a lot that goes into playing this piece beyond the notes, so you’re strongly encouraged to follow along with the video course. Carrie will walk you through coordinating the two hands, how to play grace notes, and right-handed trills. She’ll also give invaluable tips for choreographing those lever changes so you can feel in control as you play!

Difficulty Level and Skills Required
Late-Intermediate: (Click here for the Early-Intermediate version). The right hand consists of rolled chords, grace notes, trills, and overlapping brackets. The left hand is not quite so complex in terms of notes but has many lever changes.
Type of Harp
For big harps, 33 strings and larger.
Range
Lowest note is E, one and a half octaves below middle C. Highest note is C, two octaves above middle C.
Levers/Pedals
In the key of D major (F and C levers set to F sharp and C sharp). Many C, D, G, and A lever changes throughout.
