Hi Hayley, so good to have you here! 😃 It’s such an exciting time when you’re starting out with the harp, learning all these new things, and enjoying the beautiful tones of your instrument. A whole new world to explore! 🤩🎉I remember the excitement so clearly.
As Laura said, if you want to do the courses one by one in your own time, I would start with an early-beginner piece, and depending on how it feels after you’ve done one at that level, you might want to do another early-beginner piece, or perhaps you’ll feel ready to move up to mid-beginner. You can keep on moving up through the levels like that, learning skills as you go. We teach harp technique through the songs, so you’ll get lots of input about learning good technique as you learn songs you love!
If you’d like to take it a step further and get even better results, we have a 6-week program called Harp Beginnings where you learn alongside other people, with input from our teacher Carrie to give you feedback on your playing and guide you through. We just finished up the last one a couple of weeks ago, and people absolutely loved it and made so much progress! It’s amazing what you can achieve when you’re going through the content together as a group, and getting the input and support you need as you go. The next one is starting on May 7th, it might be just what you need: https://www.learningtheharp.com/harp-beginnings/
