No I meant E minor as that’s what it says on the course notes for that song. I already had the harp tuned in E flat but to play o come Emmanuel I have to tune to E minor.

    What’s the difference

For O Come Emmanuel, the key signature shows one sharp. That’s because E Minor is the relative minor to G Major (one sharp). For your harp, you would raise all the E, A, and B levers to put your harp into C Major, and then raise all the F levers to put the harp into E Minor.

Christy-Lyn has two free lever guides that will show which levers to raise for both major and minor keys. Here’s a link to her Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/LearningtheHarp/posts/free-printable-version-of-this-lever-guide-httpsgeniusharp-keysit-shows-you-exac/690721628360064/

I don’t have Facebook. Does she have it on this website somewhere?

Got it sorted out (by ear) from her video. But here’s where it said E minor. I’m truly not “theoretically” musically inclined:-(

    Thanks for all the tips:-)

Well done! But if you read the description carefully, it doesn’t say to tune your harp in E minor, it says that you need F sharp levers (F levers up) to play in E minor.

      Glad you figured it out!

So what is E minor then?
