Replacement strings
Hello everyone, I’m just looking at a new harp, it 36 strings with nylon, steel/nylon, and copper/nylon. Do I have to buy replacement strings from the manufacturer, or can I use any set that’s the same? Thanks in advance xxx

Many harps with come with a string chart (such as these from Dusty Strings https://manufacturing.dustystrings.com/harps/strings) that will give you the specifications of the strings. Getting the exact same brand is not as critical as getting the right diameter and material. Ask for a string chart and ask about what brand of strings the harp is strung with; that will give you a very good starting point!
