    These are the hooks of historic harps. In German language a lever harp is still called “Hackenharfe” which means hook harp. Here you can visit a homepage of a harp-maker who still produces these kind of harps:

    @genevieve-bealieu My first harp has these hooks, too. They are like levers, you just have to turn them . Looks like they are on all your strings. So you have a fully levered harp 🙂 .

      Thanks for the response! Did you have any methods for oiling them? Mine are mostly stuck.

        No, I didn’t oil them. They go a bit difficult but after turning them a few times it’s okay. My harp was just built especially for me so they were new.

    My hooks are really stiff which is why I didn’t think of that.
