Hi . I am learning The sound of silence. Took me forever to learn:) . Now i ok when practice with slow speed but when i try with full speed, I feel like i have to rush and play the wrong strings, no time to enjoy the sound. Maybe it take me some more times to practice … i am thinking maybe i just happy with playing at slow speed 😊… is that okay? Thanks.

You can play it at any speed you feel comfortable at, of course! But there is also a way to slowly increase your speed instead of jumping from the slow version straight to the full speed video: you could adjust the speed of the video (with the little cog in the corner of the video) and set the slower playthrough to 1.25 or the full-speed version to 0.75. That would be an in-between kind of tempo. If you find the counting helpful, I’d go with the slow playthrough at 1.25, if you want to practise without counting try the full-speed playthrough at 0.75.
