Hello, i have my harp for nearly a year, how many times do you recomend polish your harp per year?

i had so many difficulties in finding products to polish , i ended bringing cory products from another country here in Europe from a piano store, and they are great, but they are really difficult to find in stores nearby, what do you use to polish your harps? Wich products do you recomend? i have the coconut wood cleaner and i am very pleased, but i would love to find a polish for natural wood suited for harps

Someone with a used harp was asking about this – she didn’t have the maker so this is something I found and thought I would share with others:

I use the cleaner that Rees Harps sells and use the polish they recommend. I use a plain soft microfiber cloth after each practice session to remove dust and such. I use the cleaner and polish every month as I hadn’t been practicing consistently due to life getting in the way. I also use microfiber cloths to apply the cleaner and polish.

I reread the article on Rees Harps and it seems I should be doing this each week. So I’ll start doing that as I’m back to practicing daily.

Thank you Amanda Barnes, i read some articles that explains the better you take care of the wood, and your harp in general the longer is the lifetime of yourharp and indeed you can extend the lifetime of the instrument….thank you for sharing that, i thought i should polish only my harp once or twice a year, but i think it should depend on the type of wood, fabric aspects, the manufacturer…it was helpful to hear those replies!
