Oh no! Are the strings new also? Are you sure you’re tuning each string to the correct note?

It looks like those have the biocarbon strings. I have a student who had one string break right away. Those strings are supposed to stay in tune longer and last longer (once they are settled in) but I don’t know many people that play with them. That is SO frustrating as you say. Can you speak to a harp specialist at the place you bought it who might have tips? Perhaps you shouldn’t tune them clear up to pitch all at once??? I just don’t know. How many have broken. What is the weather and humidity like where you live? Broken strings are a part of life with a harp, but so many right off the bat is uncool. My student called the harp store (300 miles away from where we live) and they immediately sent new strings for free. Is there a teacher in your town you could ask about this?
