Carrie did a wonderful job teaching this course! As she said, it is a challenge at this level to start learning lever changes, and I was a bit apprehensive about that at first, but she teaches you how to do these lever changes as if they were extra notes in the music. That made it really easy to do them! It turns out that my biggest challenge in this piece was not the lever changes, but the two octave stretches at the end, where you have to use fingers 4, 2 and 1 to create the chord with the left hand. It has been a challenge for me to position my fingers in the proper way, without lifting the third finger between fingers 4 and 2. It is definitely necessary to develop this technique, and I have been practicing this by positioning the fingers, over and over, to just get the feel of it. Carrie also emphasizes “looping” sections to really learn the chord and note changes. Carrie is a great instructor! She is encouraging, always cheerful, and inspires you to keep working on the difficult sections. This is such a great course to get! I highly recommend it!

Wow, I am so impressed with the content of this course. After finishing the “Unlocking Sheet Music” Course, I was inspired to try one of the song video courses. When the Late-Beginner version of White Christmas popped up in my Inbox, I felt the universe was listening and I jumped in. I have been practicing daily and this morning completed the final section.
