This melody originates from 15th century France… it has such a beautiful, ancient feel to it!  This arrangement starts out simple and develops, but never gets too complicated.

Loved the course. Still need to work on the rolled chord at the final measure!

I found this more difficult than May It Be, Fields of Gold or Hallelujah

I found this more difficult than May It Be, Fields of Gold or Hallelujah. Mostly because of the reverse bracketing I think. Finally got through though. At least enough that I feel like I generally have it. Of course, as usual, Christy-Lyn’s perpetual enthusiasm is infectious.

A beautiful piece to learn and what a wondeful way to glorify the Lord! Thank you Christy-Lyn for your teaching style. I learned so much in this course with crossing over and under, using both hands simultaneously, and stamina. I feel more confident playing it now after a lot of practice. Highly recommend this course.

A lovely yet simple to learn version of this beautiful carol, with a few effective harmony notes to add with the left hand. A good practise at this level for crossing over and under. Christy-Lyn is encouraging as always, and I think this will become a christmas favourite for beginners. Enjoy!!

    A Christmas Surprise!

    Wanda Taylor (verified owner)

I really enjoyed learning “O Come Emmanue” . The surprise is that it has become my Christmas Favorite. It was one of those pieces that kind of appealed to me, but I was not excited about learning it. Then the learning process took over and thanks to this method it began to grow on me — everyday it became more enjoyable to play. Thank you, Christy-Lyn for this great adventure.
