I graduated from the Bedside Harp program years ago and that was a requirement. The songs do not have to be complicated – melody with a tiny bit of accompaniment. If this is the program you are talking about, you should call Edie Elkan and talk to her about the requirement. It’s not difficult and she will gladly give you information to make this as easy as possible for you.
She just wants to make sure you actually know your way around the harp. Let me know if I can help in any other way.
