@victoria.johnson “Complicated” is a good word for it. There’s the multipronged approach of warmups, exercises, studies, new pieces, memorizing, repertoire, and sight-reading — all with the goal of becoming a well-rounded player. Then there are the different methods for accomplishing each of those. It’s much more multifaceted than I realized earlier in the process, and it is getting more involved as time goes on. But it is also getting more interesting and challenging, which were primary motivations for starting to learn the harp.
