Such a pretty piece of music. The course is a perfect amount of stretch for a late-beginner – enough to not overwhelm me while allowing me to learn some new techniques. I appreciate the way this course (and the others too) break it out into bite sized pieces and then suddenly you’ve got the whole piece down.

    Practical practice

I had to smile @ the recommendation of “May It Be” as a good next piece for me, as I had just come from that piece…and so glad I took them in that order! For me, with a tremor-y & weak right hand (post-stroke), getting rolled triads well started with MIB was a great lead in to Concerning Hobbits. I could spend the needed brain power focusing on [4-3-2-[1]-2-3-4] fingerings! Both still need work, but now both are workable. I so appreciate the teaching help that I can re-watch (ad nauseum, if nec) & that I can pause to practice – chunk – loop – ghost as long as I need to! Really, sooo grateful!

I have played piano and guitar my whole life and I have to admit playing harp is hard on me reconditioning myself and not creating bad habits I love how in-depth the teachers are for good posture and technique
