    A good stretch

This was slightly above my last course but the stretch was doable by just following Carrie’s instruction. The tenths were a bit of a stretch as well, and at first I was questioning whether I could master them, but the song is really pretty and my husband really likes it, so it helped me to stick with it. Practicing by chunks was pleasant because it is so melodic, and in the end it improved my confidence.

    What a joy to practice

I learned the early intermediate version of Annie’s song, and straight away upped my challenge level to the late intermediate. This piece stretches my ability, but it sounds so beautiful, and gives me a great motivation to keep practicing! I know these more advanced finger positions will serve me well, in my journey with the harp. I am so grateful for the step by step instructions. I highly recommend this course!

    A simply beautiful arrangement

There are many lovely pieces in the Learning the Harp shop, but this is quite possibly my favourite! Carrie’s arrangement of this classic John Denver song is outstanding. Each time I sit down to practice it, I feel incredibly motivated to do it justice. Thank you, Carrie!!!
