If you like the sound of jazzy harmonies and are up to the challenge of learning lots of lever changes, then this song will be fun for you! Christy-Lyn’s arrangement of “What a Wonderful World” has lush rolled chords that add fullness, ascending and descending arpeggios to make it feel really harp-y, and a lot of dynamic variation which add musicality and expression. Once you can play this song, you’ll feel like an expert!

Late-intermediate: This piece has lots of lever changes and some require quick movements. The hands jump around between lower and higher notes, and many of the 4 note chords are unusual shapes which add to the coordination challenge.

Rolled Chords make this piece so beautiful

Again another wonderful course. I have studied piano for years but I still find the octive higher in base clef challenging to get my brain around. Having said that completed the course over 4 days thanks to the excellent tuition but it is practice, practice, practice again to master. Am planning on playing this piece in 3 weeks time at parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration party. Love the rolled chords but have to try and memorize as much as possible so play fluently on the day. I will always be eternally grateful that I found the Learning the Harp courses!!

    Challenging but beautiful

This course has been one of the more difficult ones for me. I had to put it away for a while and come back to it. But it is so beautiful and mastering the placement movement of the chords has been satisfying and really improved my playing.

    Beautiful arrangement

I absolutely love this arrangement! I’m so so happy. As I said before, this was a favorite song of my mother’s which is why I wa Ted to learn it, and my father passed away the day this came out. I felt it was meant to be. Late intermediate is a challenge, but I got through the course more easily than I thought. Now I just need to put it all together and that will take awhile. I’m hoping I will have it ready for a Zoom recital in May. 🙏🤞
