River Flows in You Sheet Music
River Flows in You Sheet Music
Written by the South Korean composer “Yiruma” in 2001, this is one of the most well-known modern classical piano pieces. The name of the piece brings to mind beautiful images of flowing water and peaceful places. Christy-Lyn’s arrangement of this piece stays true to the feeling of the piano piece, but the chords and fingering are carefully adapted to harp so that it feels “right”. The addition of tasteful rolled chords and a glissando makes this piece a showstopper that you can be really proud to play!

Difficulty level & Skills required
Advanced: The right hand melody has fast passages with crossing over and under, complex placement shapes, fast jumps, grace notes, rolled chords, and a gliss that ends on a specific note. The left hand has lots of 10ths, alternating with 9ths and octaves. The piece has sections that are busy with both hands at the same time, so that it is challenging to know where to look.
