I have both but mainly use forScore – free version. It’s just easier to have it all in one spot for me and it’s less to have to carry around. Plus I can make notes on the sheet music and easily remove it later if I want.
As for size, I have an iPad Pro 12.9”. It’s a great size for me to see a full page. The case I have it in is a little heavy but the iPad itself isn’t heavy at all.
I also use a page turner to flip to the next page so my fingers stay on my harp.
