The Somerset Harp Festival is virtual this year for 2021, which I have mixed feelings about. I’ve heard this is a really great harp festival, but never been. Thinking about signing up! Good that it’s accessible and now people would have longer virtual access, flexible timeframes to access workshops and much cheaper than doing an in-person festival. But there can’t really be a true collaborative group playing experience or successful harp tasting virtually in my opinion? It’s not the same opportunities, like if in-person, one could try out different harps they never previously would have access to at a festival like this. Here’s a link to their website:
