Hey everyone, I have just a general question about moving your harp around. I have a L&H Drake and I just want to make sure I’m taking good care of it. Anyway, when moving the harp to a different area in the room or just positioning it in front of my chair, where is the best place to hold onto it? I don’t want to pull and/or lift on the wrong places.

This Dusty Strings video shows how to load a 36-string harp into its case. See timestamps 1:11 and 3:05 for lifting the harp. In both examples, one hand grasps the pillar in front, and the other hand is anchored in an access hole in back. I use that method for moving my Ravenna 34. The distribution of weight feels stable in that position. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHfOZ2EpbXk
