    Assuming this is part of a passage that has already been established as a glissando passage and the necessary pedal settings indicated at the beginning of it: Which of these two notations do you harpists prefer, or is there a better alternative?

    The one to the left reads more intuitively for me.

      Thank you Victoria! And let me ask you: If you had to play the righthand gliss all by itself (with the lefthand doing something else), would it be difficult for you to reach that low G in the last bar with the righthand thumb?

        I am a petite person and that low G is definitely at the edge of my limit for reach with the righthand thumb.

          Thanks for the feedback, Victoria. It’s good to know since some books give that G as the RH limit, and some give the C above that as the limit.
