• Music for tremor people

Hey tremor people, we should be writing or identifying music that is easiest for us to play! I have to think about this. One thing that is difficult for me is series of thirds. And fast music. What are some titles of music that we do well with, and what do they have in common? I think that 1-5-8 patterns in the left hand seem to be easier than finding chords.

My symptoms with early onset parkinsons are changeable some times every day. Good thing I am very persistent! I will not give up on my music. It may take me longer to change stings and tune up, but it is part of the process. What I was doing prior to Christie-Lyns course was letting my fingers go where they wanted, arpeggios , whatever, I found it relaxing. Now I need to work on the proper planting and finger/thumb placements.

As far as types of music I have always found the slow hymns to be good to learn.

That’s a great idea!!! When I find a piece that I feel comfortable with, I will share it with you.
