So what would be the highest humidity that a harp should be in? My house is a steady 77% at the moment, so I’m hoping that’s alright for it? We already have dehumidifiers which do precisely nothing.

the only real issue I’ve discovered with high humidity is string breakage, and possible rusting of metal parts of the harp if you’re worried about this you can get a dehumidifier, but if you’re not having these issues I’d assume you’re in good shape! I have yet to get a humidifier for my harp and I live in a very dry area 😑

I read somewhere it should be between 40-60% for wooden instruments. I know that’s what it is for my violin. I bought a humidity and temperature gauge from Amazon so I can keep an eye on it.
