What Child Is This / Greensleeves Course

What Child Is This: This lovely Christmas tune works so well on the harp, and can be played in front of the Christmas tree or at church events. It is set to the old tune of Greensleeves.

Greensleeves is a traditional English melody that people associate with the Renaissance. It creates a haunting atmosphere…some pieces just sound really old, and this is one of them! This arrangement is the simplest possible version with a left hand part, so you can play it even if you’ve recently started playing the harp.

Mid-Beginner: It consists of a simple melody in the right hand and slow, single-note accompaniment in the left hand. All 4 fingers are used and simple brackets are included.
